We celebrate two sacraments as a Global Methodist Church. The sacrament of baptism and Holy Communion, also known as The Lord’s Supper.
Baptism can take place at any time or stage of life. It celebrates God’s surrounding presence of grace and love in the life of a child, teen or adult. God is always offering his salvation and hope to us but we must respond to that presence by a personal decision to follow Jesus at some point. We use three methods of baptism, anointing, pouring (effusion) and emersion. Please call the Church Office or contact the pastor if you would like to schedule a time for baptism, for yourself or a child. They will meet with the pastor to discuss this important step.
We celebrate that Christ is mysteriously and spiritually present when we receive Holy Communion. This church and denomination do not “own” the table of our Lord. You are welcome to receive Holy Communion if Jesus is your Lord and Savoir. We offer Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month as a part of the 10:45 Traditional Service and each Sunday at 8:45 in the Second Street worship service.
